Direct from the Chirrepeco Tea Cooperative, this Guatemalan black tea has a unique aroma and taste of its own. It is a brisk medium bodied tea with earth notes and a touch of natural sweetness.  If you are a black tea lover this is a must try.

• Use 1 tsp per 8 oz cup, heat water to 208° steep for 5 minutes.

Grown in the Chirrepeco Tea Cooperative in northern Guatemala in the picturesque village of San Juan Chamelco close to the sacred caves that still used in the Mayan ritual today.   Until recently, this tea was only available to the locals.
