This naturally caffeine-free beverage is a tisane (infusion) that soothes an upset stomach as well as aids digestion.  It is a delightful summer thirst quencher when brewed iced.

• Use 1 level tsp. per 8 oz cup , heat water to 170-180° let steep 1 minute. NOTE - For iced tea use 1 heaping tbls.

Peppermint plants grow to about 2-3 feet tall.  They bloom from July through August and dark green, fragrant leaves grow opposite white flowers. Peppermint in native to Europe and Asia and is naturalized to North America.  It grows wild in moist, temperate areas.
