Refreshing is the only way to describe our Citrus Chiffon.  This top grade green Rooibos flavored with zesty lemon and topped with cornflower and rose petals is a delightful tea with soft creamy notes.  For a great summer thirst quencher add a sprig of mint.

• Use 1 heaping tsp per 6 oz cup, heat water to 208 ° let steep for 5 minutes to taste.

Rooibos (pronounced "ROY-bos"  Afrikaans for "red bush) is grown in a small region of the Western Cape province.  Generally the leaves are oxidized which produces the distinctive reddish-brown color of Rooibos and enhances the flavor.  The flavor is often described as being naturally sweet and slightly nutty.  Rooibos is becoming more popular in Western countries particularly among health-conscious consumers due to the high level of antioxidants, lack of caffeine and low tannin levels compared to a fully oxidized black tea and an unoxidized green tea.
