Epazote leaves have a minty flavor reminiscent of oregano.  It is general used in Mexican cuisine such as chilaquiles, tamales, soups and black beans.

In Mexican culture, epazote was brewed as tea to aid in stomach aches and cramps. Today, it is added to dishes to enhance the flavor of many of their most treasured dishes.
