Let's demystify the name GABA. (Gamma Amino Butyric Acid). GABA naturally occurs in all camellia sinensis tea leaves but the Japanese scientists discovered that when the leaves are put in a nitrogen rich environment GABA is significantly increased.

The leaves are plucked and rolled and then put in a tank to oxidize. The oxygen is pumped out as the nitrogen is pumped in. Once oxidized, the GABA reportedly decreases stress, anxiety, improves memory, alertness and acts as a natural sleep aid.

GABA has a medium to dark oxidation that is silky smooth and sweet with overtones of cinnamon.
